Chateau Cottage and Eglise House

James and Francine Colling - your hosts in the Vendee James and Francine have three small boys and love everything France has to offer for a family. We are well placed to act as your holiday hosts as James has many years experience within the corporate hospitality industry and is fully aware of clients expectations. He is well placed to advise on wines and gourmet experiences should this be of interest to you. Francine was a primary school teacher for many years and is well qualified in providing for people on holiday with children. We brought the property as a result of its uniqueness and love at first sight and our numerous clients comment on the tranquility of the setting. It has a very unique setting as our property was originally the chateau for the church and is set within a very private courtyard with no passing traffic but close to many amenities. We have fantastic views over the surrounding countryside and the buildings are of architectural significance all set within two and a half hectares. Having previously holidayed in France ourselves we found a number of places we stayed in were lacking. We have endeavoured to tick all the boxes and provide everything you could want for the perfect holiday. We are conveniently located for everything and have a great supply of local information for you upon arrival. One guest referred to our setting as being like Camelot such is the magical setting. We offer many extra events like gourmet evenings/wine tastings to make your holiday with us even more memorable. This has been considered as a great treat especially for those with young children who find it more difficult to get out in the evening. We hope to be able to welcome you with us for your next holiday in France in the Vendee and assure you a warm welcome awaits all year around. Please see our other web sites vendeeevents.com for organised events and activity holidays across the France, and vendeeweddings.com for our chateau wedding planning service. |
