Welcome to our Gites in the Vendée, France

Welcome to Chateau Cottage and Eglise House, two charming, newly renovated period properties in the centre of a pretty village in the Vendee. These buildings formed the original chateau dwellings for the church giving the accommodation a very interesting history.

Chateau cottage was the first property finished, and since then many families, couples and even honeymooners have spent wonderful holidays here with us in the Vendee. Many return to sample more of what our wonderful region has to offer and to enjoy the peace and tranquility, and the great weather provided by the Vendees microclimate.

Chateau cottage luxury accommodation is located in a pretty courtyard setting dominated by the beautiful village church which is illuminated at night providing a fantastic backdrop to the unique and magical setting.

Eglise house is situated within the courtyard and sleeps 6/7 people comfortably is a period detached house on two levels. It has been recently renovated to a very high standard whilst retaining wonderful original features.

Both properties are superbly equipped with everything needed for a memorable holiday including uk digital tv. The properties can be rented independently or together for larger groups or two families holidaying together.

There is a very large heated swimming pool with seating areas, a French boules court, children's play area and private enclosed gardens with outstanding views of the surrounding countryside set within two and a half hectares of private land with no passing traffic but close to all amenities. It is a great playground for both young and old and we have small animals as well in an enclosure offering fresh eggs daily.

We like to think what we are offering is well above the standard of the competition having stayed in many gites ourselves in the past and we are sure you will not be disappointed.

We also can offer other events to make your holiday special and people have enjoyed our gourmet meal evenings and wine and cheese nights especially.
